Pink Premier Party- September 3, 2020
Join us we rally for hope and commit to standing against breast cancer on Thursday, September 3rd at 12 PM CT. Sponsored by St. Dominic, we invite you to the Pink Premier Party to hear inspiring stories from survivors, important information about what’s at stake right now and the impact of COVID-19 on our fight, new ways to get involved in our biggest effort to stop breast cancer yet, info on how you can participate in "Cruising For a Cure," and so much more!
Making Strides of Central Mississippi
CRUSIN' FOR A CURE EVENT DETAILS
We know that COVID-19 has made all of us change the way we do things, including how we put on events. This year, our Making Strides event is HAPPENING, just in a different way!
It will be a special invitation only event, a "city-wide scavenger hunt with different stops along the way for teams who raise $500 or more for ACS. Each individual who raises $100 or more will receive a limited-edition Making Strides Cruisin’ for a Cure medal.
There will still be a start line and a finish line, and you will do it all from your vehicle! Before you take off, decorate your cars for the car parade awards! At check-in, you will be able to turn in last of your funds and receive a road map! Your roadmap is key to finding all the different PINK PIT STOPS for the day.
So, cruise at your own pace and convenience, visiting each stop. Once finished with the route, make your way to the finish line to turn in your map for entry into the Pink Prize Pull!
Get your cameras ready and prepare yourself for a day to remember... with more details coming soon.
In the meantime, be sure to sign up online and start your fundraising efforts, because our cancer patients need us more than ever in times such as this and cancer doesn't stop so neither will we! SEE YOU OCTOBER 24th!

2019 Updates
Ladies:
The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Race will be in Jackson, MS on October 27th. Every year Zeta Tau Alpha coordinates a 'Survivor's Tent.' We need at least 10 Zeta's to come in shifts, (or all morning) to help set up, pass out ribbons, and greet racers. The first shift begins at 7 am to help with set up. Registration for the race begins at 8 am, and the race begins at 9 am. Volunteers may leave after the race begins, or they may stay for the entirety of the race if they wish.
